Students for a Better Future (SBF) is a prestigious scholarship programme in South Africa sponsored by the Andreas and Susan Struengmann Foundation. Starting in Grade 6, we equip high potential children with everything they need from their early teens to landing their first job. Our graduates are employed at leading South African organisations like Deloitte, PwC and Cliffe Dekker Hofmeyr.

Students for a Better Future (SBF) is a prestigious scholarship programme in South Africa sponsored by the Andreas and Susan Struengmann Foundation. We start much earlier—in grade 6—to equip high potential children with the resilience, skills and confidence they need to excel throughout high school and university all the way to landing their first job. From thousands of applications, 60 scholars enter our community every year. We have three major programmes: Pathfinders in grade 7, High School in grades 8-12, and SASLI, our highly coveted university initiative for exceptional SBF scholars. Our graduates are employed at leading South African organisations like Deloitte, PwC and Cliffe Dekker Hofmeyr.
